If I remeber correctly this song was written after they had the bigest fight ever and their son was affraid that they were going to get divorced or rather he was sure of it; but when they came to talk to him after it was over they had decieded to renew their vows. hence the brand new dance.
I really love Johnny Cash and June Carter but in this video u can see easily that June has a playback singing !! Look at 3:09 -> 3:12 : she is singing and suddenly she realizes her mistake but keep singing without any witness. at 3:13 : Johnny looks not so happy during 3 secondes cause he understood it and directly after, his smile came back :) !!
I'm sorry Nerox, this is 100% live, played AND sung! Guess you're not a musician/ singer. Stuff like this happens all the time on stage and that doesn't mean it's playback. She started a bar too early, heard the guitar fill, swallowed her words and started again.
