I wasn't disputing the fact he did it in "one move", that's obvious as the camera does not cut away, what i'm saying is he obviously had plenty of practice goes where he may or may not have hit the curb/cones/cars!

if they screw up most of the time on high budget films they bring a water truck to flush out the rubber marks or at least blend them.

Haven't I seen Plato or Tiff do this? I've seen idiots attempt this and royally screw it up, but its really not that hard to do if you have common sense.

On the day of editing all this together, the editor really won't give a toss about tyre marks out of sequence on the road. Watch any TV or film car chase squence and you will see practice and multiple take marks on the ground. In the edit suite, the editor will take the best looking appropriate shot he likes the best.
