Are those pygmy goats? Have you considered lamas? They don't eat much, their wool is nicer, you can still get milk, and they make good pack animals. Whether out hiking, or hauling produce to a local market. Lastly, how much of the chicken's/ goats food do you produce?

Awesome. Yesterday I bought a book called Food Not Lawns that is about this very subject. VERY inspiring. I'm totally going to get rid of my front lawn and grow food!
