BRUNO film crew gets violent with gay news photojournalist at Prop 8 demonstration

"Bruno" AKA Sacha Baron Cohen punkd a Prop 8 rally as it was being filmed. His crew doesn't like the news camera's presence and roughs up the cameraman. Later "Bruno" crew hits cameraman with "Yes On 8" sign will chanting "Yes On 8". A battery report was filed.

@TheMeatloaflover Prop 8 passed two days later after this civil demonstration. What was Cohen doing to stop Prop 8 in this moment if the footage was for his film that came out a year later? The "Bruno" movie came out and gay people still can't marry in Cali. Could this have been sheer opportunism for Cohen and the film crew? A cheap set and Cold Stream Productions in violation of their commercial film permit (btw). Please elaborate on how Cohen intended to stop Prop 8.

@MsLANYC Seriously, if you do have evidence that the British comedian was generously involved in attempts to thwart Prop 8 during the California election, please share it with the public. Many gay people have expressed distrust of Cohen's motives with Bruno. Maybe you could help change some of those minds for the best.

Maybe you know Cohen personally and care about him. I hope this inspires you to make a difference and help Cohen with many gays. You could clear up a misunderstanding.
