@frmacleod I use the other computers to learn about fixing computers. I have 9 computers total that were throw aways that I got running. While the first couple I had to spend some money to get working the others were free because I had enough parts to get them running. You really only need one computer and it is a pain to keep all these updated so when XP is no longer supported they are history.

@jvrG20 While the router is wireless I am currently using cables to connect to it. When I first set it up I did use wireless and it worked okay. I switched to cables to ensure that I could totally disconnect if I had to. I am not a computer expert but the ASUS used to have an IP address conflict so I changed the numbers and it seems to work okay.

Idk if it's just my laptop or if it's every sony vaio but everytime I wanna use wirelessly on lynksis it doesn't work and messes up the Internet for everyone else if u know how to fix it can u please help me
