  • The sheer size age and beauty of the Russian Orthodox Church is breathtaking. I consider myself an honourary adherent to this ancient liturgy and faith!!!

Try going to a website like ancientfaithradio and you will find it very spiritually uplifting and helpful in your given situation of not being close to any Orthodox Church. Just to let you know that the Tsar and his family have been canonized by the Orthodox Church for their martyrdom . Remember, My Friend, that it is not for myself or anyone to judge anyone. This remains for God alone! We must embrace everyone in the Love of Christ who came to save all sinners of whom I am

  • If it more complex than most Roman Cathiolics and Protestants may understand. It is the same as having intercommunion and ecumenism with other non-Christian faiths and confessions. Orthodoxy does not allow for any of this. So an Orthodox Christian may receive communion in any Orthodox Church that is in Communion with the entire Orthodox World. A website you may find helpful in answering any doubts or questions you may have is ancientfaithradio

Many Protestants have returned to the Orthodox Church. However, they iniitially broke away from the Church of Ro

  • @vladimyr9 I watched with horror stalins destruction of Christ the Saviour Cathedral in Moscow 1931 I do not practice Orthodoxy officially there are no R.O. churches in my area so I join in spirit with the Holy Church the R.O. church is a feast for the senses the visual beauty stunning the sounds of the bells and liturgy is Heaven on Earth and the warmth and smells of the candles and incense pleasure to the touch and nose and the wine for communion to the taste! I'm also pro-Romanov!
