  • I launch the boat from the launch ramp usually, I park near the edge of the water and pull the boat out (of the truck) into the water. I have also parked 50 ft or so from the water in a parking lot and walked the boat to the beach with a friend. There is a part of Mission Bay that is open speed area.

  • do you know how fast a 2 stroke nissan 9.8 would go on the same boat?? i have a 10 foot zodiac..the motor is like a 1999

  • @MrOceanfisher this will go faster than the one in the video I think cause the outboard weighs less, has better acceleration, (if it runs good) and Zodiac makes a better inflatable boat than most.

  • How do you transport and lay down your motor when you remove it from your dinghy?

  • @stjernefodt I take the outboard off the boat in the shallow water, with the shaft in the lowered position, then I walk it over to the tailgate of my Toyota Tundra and lay it on some foam pads or cushions. Then I slide the outboard to the top of the bed and tie it down. The boat can be slid right up onto the bed. I strap it down as well. I do this process all by myself.
