I served. I got my ass shot at. I deserved the right to say what I want to say. And I don't know what makes you think I am a leftist. Just because I bought a Volt. Did you know that quite a few republicans have bought the Volt. Like George Bush Sr., Jimmie Johnson, Jeff Gordon, etc. You are not a republican. You are a tea bagger. That's a totally differant race.

In a perfect world, you have some panels on your roof and you produce your own. That is the case with myself and several other Volt owners I have chatted with.

tsk tsk, all because obama was pictured in the car. if obama was photographed eating a chocolate chip cookie, the far right and fox news would do their best to ruin chocolate chip cookies. I thought republicans wanted lower taxes? buy a volt, reduce your tax responsibility by $7500.00.

We use 7 billion kilowatt hours of E to produce & deliver & pump gas. That electricity, not used by E cars will go back to the grid and go to the homes of the E car owners. Also, the vast majority of electric car owners are charging at night, when most people are not using E. The power co.'s make more money selling more E that is not being used.

We spend 1/4 of our military expenditure, $50 billion a year to protect oil rich countries that hate us and give money to Al Qaeda.

The subsidies for all electric cars were signed in by Bush Sr. in 1992, (H.R.776.ENR). A 1 time subsidy of $6.5 billion. GM's portion was 35%. The Volt's portion of that amount was 25%. Per Fox News (dot) com, the avg. tax payer's portion for all electric subsidies was $11. The Volt's portion of that is about 50 cents. That's $0.50 spread out over the past 21 years. You call that huge? Search: "Electric Car Subsidies Transferring Wealth From the Poor to the Rich?" for the Fox article

The Volt is the most loved car by it's owners in the history of cars. The most traded in cars for the Volt is the Prius, the Camry and the Civic. I guess those cars suck also, since the owners love their Volts better.

If the electric car would work it would be brilliant for me. I work in the electrical power industry. We'd have to double the power generation capacity and the wires, transformers, sub-stations, etc. I would buy a much bigger house.

Sad that this vid is so accurate.

Do you have a thought in hour head that didn't come from Fox News.

Stop being a tool and learn to think for your self, it's pathetic.

As of 3/1/13: 235,000,000 Volt miles driven. No fires. Toyota recalls 7 million + cars. 161 fires. They smell something.
