British White Cow & Newborn Calf - Sounds of Spring 2011

This is J.West's Morgan and her newly born bull calf, birth weight 60 lbs, he is one day old here. He is a cute little guy, lots of spunk and curiousity, and as of yesterday has a name already, he'll be called Rowdy should he prove himself a herd bull one of these days. This little guy is now about a week old and he's already following trailers! much to his Mom's distress.

Morgan was sired by J.West's Bounder, who was out of a Popeye daughter and Woodbastwick Randolph Turpin, and her dam was a Popeye daughter as well.........darn, just where did those spots come from? Ah well, it is a trait of our breeding stock, and we like it just fine here at J.West Cattle Company. Recorded on March 20, 2011.
