IQlight lighting system™ is a lighting system made up of interlocking quadrilaterals (hence the name "IQlight") that the user can assemble in many different ways.
The IQlight was designed in 1972, by the Danish designer Holger Strøm, then working at the Kilkenny Design Workshops in Ireland.

The lighting system is based on single interlocking modules. Depending on the quantity of modules and choice of assembly pattern, IQlight can be formed to more than 22 different lampshade designs -- even your own creation... The broad range of possibilities of the IQlight lighting system™ can satisfy different personalities, needs and desires.

  • thanks! This video makes it very easy to assemble. The only thing you should know is that all the green modules are reversed to the white ones: first make 12 white 5-piece "flowers", then reverse your stack of 60 remaining modules and start adding them. It helps a lot if you put a little marker in the centre of each "flower".

  • @oncanyon Hallo ich versuche auch eine 120er Lampe zu basteln und es gelingt mir nicht. Hast du mittlerweile was finden können?

  • i managed to do it with the manual and writing the numbers on the modules. Start with the first row, take 5 upside modules mark them with (1) and make a rose with the top right edge, mark 10 modules upside down as (2x) and connect them with the rose. be carefull with upside and downside. It was easy till row 5 for me, 6 and 7 were are bit tricky. I felt it easier sometimes to connect the new module only with two edges to the growing ball first and connect the other edges on the side later on.
