  • Again, if mass gain is the worry I really don't think you need to be super concerned with the occasional bit of rice. It is essential to be getting those calories in, and the rice is a better choice than going without. I know the paleo gods would murder me, but properly prepared lentils with the rice would get you a pretty decent amino acid profile and be really cheap still.

  • Other than that... eat lots and squat heavy and deep.

  • No worries buddy. I would check out John Berardi's site. He has some good ones...

  • If you are aiming to put on muscle, then yes, a full daily caloric load consumed in that smaller 8hr feeding window.

  • lol thanks hey i have one question.......my family is going through hardship right now and im eating strict paleo but sometimes when we have absolutely no food i have to squeeze in a meal of white rice .......i read on some forums that alot of paleo people think it is a "benign" starch because its has no phytates...they say its actually better than brown rice.......do you think it "okay" if i do this every once in a while

  • if im trying to increase my GH for muscle growth and lets say my fast ends at 4 p.m and my usual daily caloric intake is 2200 calories do i need to try to eat that to make up for the day? or at least get close?
