You can look up his old site on the wayback machine where it says his cds were on sale at 23rd Precinct (record shop in glasgow) and stalls on Barrowlands market. 23rd Precinct also had them on their website until they realised that some of artists they knew (like scott brown) had material on them that rankin had claimed as his own.

Funniest damn thing - rankin recently played a DJing gig at the university of dublin - hes considered 'old skool' and 'retro' now by the students (who were about 12-13 when rankin was hoiking his CDs.). Saying that it might not even be Gordon Rankin, it could be some random bonde bloke playing some cheesy trance. DJ Rankin - the famous DJ who only ever played handful of DJing gigs in nearly 10 years. And all of them u-18 discos. Wonders will never cease

@DubstepCee And to go back to youre original posts, rankin sold his CDs of his 'tracks' (i.e. other peoples stuff sped up) in record shops and markets. And got djing gigs of the back of them. Not really fair to move up using other peoples work. THATS why people didnt like him. He might have been mixing them together 'to sound fresh' but its not his music to then put his name to and sell. He makesno mention of the original artist most of the time.
