the whole movie that is on the tube is Short Eyes, from the play that made him rich, famous, and everything that went with going up to the surface.
It's relentless, sweet and terrible. Breaks all the rules, works.

This is a powerful moment in the movie, because Puerto Ricans on the Island always look down on Puerto Ricans in the states, like crime, poverty, discrimination was our fault and they pretend these things don't exsit on the Island. Like Pinero say's no matter where I go I'm Puerto Rican, I don't need a flag or an island to tell you that, just look into my eyes, my heart, my soul.
