They are not saying this because W7 is rock stable at launch. More stable then Leopard considering how many people lost data on Leopard when it launched and nothing like that hit W7.
Apple is praying that they can throw mud and make it stick. Won't happen this time. If you use W7 you will know right off it's agreat OS.

Oh I don't doubt that it is a great OS, it's just like whatever it's just another OS, they are all going to have problems. lol

Considering after the brutal Vista launch, Apple could not gain market share even after that. With the bad press Vista got Apple still could notincrease its share beyond what it always had.
W7 launch has been successful and the OS is stable as Leopard and getting great reviews. So Apple is shitting because most likely its market-share from 9% will most likely drop lower due to W7 being received better then Vista.
Notice how Apple ads are not stating W7 being unstable as they did XP and Vista?
