    It's because of A LOT of other characters instead of just one. If it was just one character that made it rock, it'd become stagnant, static, and stale (though, ironically, because of Batman's popularity, you could very well argue that he has had a heavy hand in making the comics industry, not just DC, all those three things and more terrible things).

    To anyone blaming DC for their lack of films...shut-up and quite being so Stupid will you?

    It ain't the comic publisher's fault, it's the fault of the multi-billion dollar Media/Movie Giant that owns them that has quite a few other sources of revenue outside of the super hero genre with less risk to investors (which is NOT how it's set-up for Marvel Studios, who pretty much HAVE TO rely on themselves mostly to stay afloat, with Disney ONLY being involved in distribution).
