A brilliant version , played with feel and real blues soul. Peter Green`s out of phase Les Paul guitar is used and the tone is just right for it. Moore proves here that his blues playing is as good as it gets!

Thanks to Duster Bennett for writing this most beautiful and enduring of blues tunes, to Peter Green for his magnificent interpretations done so many years ago, and to Gary Moore for keeping it alive and vibrant. If there is a more heartbreakingly direct lyric, or a more powerfully moving slow blues, I haven't heard it. This is the pinnacle, kids.

We are not very good but I just love trying to play his blues music. He was truly special and unique. I can't stop thinking about him when I try to play one of his songs.

@NicolletIslandSlim Agreed! This guy was a superbly outstanding artist! A real shame of such an unfortunate early death. Sadly some of the better talents are the more obscure and overlooked like Gary Moore and don't get their deserved notice until after their death. "Evil Love" is another great blues tune (among many others) that Gary did. **I well remember seeing Peter Greene do this song at his regular venue: the Boston Tea Party back in ' 69.

Gary Moore guitariste méconnu
l'originalité n'est pas forcément synonyme de talent
mais lui en avait du talent !!!

Whew this moves planet earth off its' axis
how can Gary not be in the Rolling Stone top 100 guitarists??????
there is only Slash out of all the Americans that play with anything like the soul feeling! and he is British born.

Many good guitarists were left out from that list. Gary never obtained the acknowledgement that he would have deserved. The list is not worth shit! Many people criticized the list!
