Sasha and Malia named their dog Bo because their cousins have a cat named Bo and their grandfather - - First Lady Michelle Obama's dad - was nicknamed Diddley, after legendary singer and performer Bo Diddley.
Bo doesn't know how to swim; he has to be taught even though Portuguese Water Dogs are exceptional swimmers .
