i personally have never broken ANY string playing. but tuning, yes. elixers have been a bit fragile in the tuning department. especially the 3rd string

Hello Jordan. You really make the Taylor 114e sing very nice. You and the guitar are melted to one peace together. Keep up your nice playing and load it up on YouTube, please. O yes, I noticed this: you tuned the Taylor indeed to DADGAD, but also a 1/2 step down, right?
