I know eating is addictive, I do it every day. I don't know about smoking or drinking as I don't do either of those things, but it certainly sounds like you're making excuses. Yes, some people are overweight because of health conditions out of their contorl, but the VAST majority of obese people get that way from the simple fact of overeating and under exercising. And he's 21/22, so to be that fat at such a young age means he must have eaten an even bigger shit load of food.

@pomegranateish Eating is just as addictive as smoking or drinking. It gives off that euphoria. Also, there are endocrine disorders such as hypothyroidism that can affect people to the level where they'll eat well and exercise but still gain weight.

I'm not making excuses. I'm just saying that you should learn a person's whole story before making judgments.
