@eric0838 These were old video's (especially this) and I'm signed to a record label now. I did these for promo to make a name for myself years ago and uploaded them freely to share.....if you notice the quality is beyond terrible and degrading and it is NOT original material. Look at the date on that...then go to my channel and listen to the 2ND latest uploaded video's quality and you'll see the difference. I also have a music video out

@chirlakato I know what the law is, I just assumed such a well known youtuber like yourself would be making bank off all his videos

@eric0838 Now that that is out of the way... do you even know what a MIXTAPE or PARODY IS? I assume no since you come on a video as if you know something about law implicating 'copyright infringement'. BY LAW, anyone is permitted to use any product they bought or presumingly OWN at their own discretion as long as they are not PROFITING off of the originator's work (aka ZERO royalties)..so no legal action can or will ever be taken..what is WRONG with you?
-
@eric0838 No it's not idiot. Look up copyright infringement again as well as the 25 amendments (more particularly Freedom Of Speech). Lupe Fiasco doesn't OWN the instrumental as he is NOT a producer, he is an ARTIST, MC's don't produce records, they rap on them. And if you're not familiar with the term PRODUCTION, it's the musical term used for the INSTRUMENT component of a song..so if anything, Lupe is has nothing to do with this at all..as I did not use HIS lyrics, voice OR profited.

Hey this song is fresh man! Great lyrics.
this is copyright infringement, unless your paying lupe

@eric0838 I've been working on an album for the past year full of all original material.......and you should educate yourself more on the music industry and it's business side. There's no such thing as a "YouTube Star" or celebrity..and fame does not equate to a career or money so it would be wise not to judge off of what you see from social media, especially YouTube. It takes close to a decade before an artist see's his first royalty check It takes money (thousands) to make money esp. music.

@eric0838 To reiterate....UNLESS you are legally contracted to legitimate Record Labels or other Entertainment Industry brances with paper work or record deals...then you are broke. Every "YouTube Star" you see on this website work for free and have regular 9-5's to pay bills...NONE of them are "making bank"..their subscribers equate to just that..subscribers (free fans of free material). And the Utube "partners" only get a few cents IF someone clicks on the Google Ads
