A beautiful pop song written by Yoko Ono and remixed by Cat Power for the album "Yes, I'm A Witch" in 2007.

"Revelations" (by Ono):

Bless you for your anger
It's a sign of rising energy
Bless you for your sorrow
It's a sign of vulnerability

Bless you for your greed
It's a sign of great capacity
Bless you for your jealousy
It's a sign of empathy

Bless you for your fear
It's a sign of wisdom

Bless you for your search of direction
Bless you for the times you feel no love
Open your heart to life anyway
In time you will find love in you

You are a sea of goodness
You are a sea of love
Bless you, bless you, bless you
Bless you for what you are

The world has all that you need
You have the power to attract what you wish
Wish for health, wish for joy
Remember, you are loved

I love you

Transform the energy to versatility and it will bring you prosperity

Transform the energy to sympathy and it will bring you love

Transform the energy to giving
Give as much as you wish to take and you will receive satisfaction

Transform the energy to admiration
And what you admire will become part of your life

Transform the energy to flexibility and you will be free from what you fear

Transform the energy to receptivity and the direction will come to you

Evil feeds on your support. feed not and it will self-destruct.

LOL! I have a feeling it's unintentional, but hilarious none the less. thanks for the laughs.

but sigh...what a good message this song gives. nourishes my soul.

  • Why does it zoom in on her boobs at 2:14?

  • ...and what you admire will become part of your life

  • @jellybean8080 If you're talking about "Yes I'm a Witch" album, it's a pretty good album on the whole. Played it a lot in the car. Loved the duet with Screaming Lips (Cambridge 1969). Give me Yoko Ono any day to the awful watered down pop rock of McCartney/Lennon in the 1970s.

  • This and "Walking on Thin Ice." Spiritualized version or otherwise.

  • @jellybean8080: are you saying that "all of this song" is Chan Marshall's voice and arrangement (which is prettier than the 1995 version, but not particularly different)? Also, I can guarantee you that Marshall would not be happy about whatever that sentence about "semi-attractive" was supposed to be.

  • Yoko Ono is pretty bad. I give cat power credit for all of this song, not yoko ono. just listen to the rest of her album. this song isn't even that good, it just seems good because the rest of her album is a complete joke. why couldn't at least a semi-attractive/musically talented woman?

  • beautiful blessed be

  • this song is so beautiful

  • what an awesome song! My eyes are filled with tears of joy as I watch and hear this for the first time right now :) Happy day to all!
