  • when the IC title meant something!

  • @Polishjazzman Let's not forget Mr Perfect smashing Hulk's championship belt on Saturday Night's Main Event. Classic for both men.

  • @hoghash78 Yeah but they couldn't carry the company, much less Hogan's jockstrap when it came to popularity, ticket and merchandise sales, or expanding the WWF's brand internationally. I was at this match with my dad and brother in the nosebleeds. The match before was Hogan/Snuka vs Piper/Orton and crowd was so loud I almost went deaf. A noticeable amount of people left the arena while the cage was being constructed, so we moved into some seats on the lower concourse and enjoyed this match!

  • There's a whole lot of Valentine's almost-bare ass in this match!

  • Alot of old school Intercontinental champs...could have been been World Champs.

If it wásnt for the big loud yellow one =)

  • the rumor was Tito was supposed to loose and he slammed the door on Greg's head. I have even heard wrestlers say that.

But look at the ending, it is freaking perfect. 100% awesome, it had to be a work.

One of the best cage matches ever, possibly the best feud ever.

If I ever get to see Rich v Sawyer in the Last Battle of Atlanta, I might change my mind, until then, this is at the top.

  • I remember seeing this match on a Coliseum Home Video release as a kid. Unfortunately, I didn't start watching wrestling til the tail end of this feud. But man, the matches these guys had were awesome!!!

  • I wonder if Valentine had to pay for Santana's new belt.
