  • @devilman1962 Let me also tell you that the drive is performing flawlessly. I've been adding recordings and not getting around to watching them and the drive still has over half it's capacity left on it. I'm very happy with it. You never have to worry about not having space now it seems. Time will tell though if I never delete anything. ;)

  • @devilman1962 Quit thinking about it and just do it, is all I have to say. I haven't had nearly the trouble with FIOS that I had with my old cable provider and their box. I did go through one router that I'd have to reboot often but the 2nd router works great. Occasionally I will find I have no net connection but a simple warm boot brings it right back.

Oh, I'm using the software that came with Webcam. I'll have to take a look and reply back to tell what it is specifically. I'm not at home now.

  • Good video for your first. Thinking of switching to fios. Did this drive work or were there issues.

Also what program did you use to make the credits roll at the end. I am working on a video and I need the credits to roll at the end like yours do.

  • I have successfully added this 1TB external eSATA HD to my Verizon FIOS DVR. It was an easy add. Found directions on the Verizon forum. Basically you plug in the drive to the back of the DVR, power on the hard drive and go through the settings of the DVR and enable the external hard drive. What happens next when you push 'GO' is the DVR reboots and it finds the external hard drive. Now, when you go into the DVR section of the menu you will see an option for the external hard drive.
