People don't want to see fat models on the runway. Who do you think you are to tell people what size they should show on the runway? The number of people who die because of being overweight/obese dwarf and obliterate the tiny percentage of people who die of anorexia.

@rvggarcon: A model who is 5'9" and size 4 or 6 is NOT fat. In fact, she is probably proportionately skinnier than most actresses one sees in movies (usually, these ladies are 5'2-5'5 and size 0 or 2 - around my size).

@prosperemagazine There are already a few models who are size 4-6 Lara Stone for instance and a few more. I know there are size 4 models who are quite thin but that's not really enough for people. The fact is size 0-6 are still gonna be skinny girls just not as skinny. People need to stop blaming fashion for eating disorders. Even if they use size 4-6 models they are still skinny and girls are still going to want to be skinny unless you use size 20 models which will never happen.

@rvggarcon I don't know about that. Size 4 and 6 are fine to a lot of people I have spoken with. Sadly, many designers won't look at size 4 or 6 girls and think they're too "fat." I also agree that size 20 will likely not happen - models who do plus size clothing lines are usually in the 16-18 range, max and are actually quite proportionate - usually a 10 inch difference between the waist and hips.
