I Met Him In Detention Lolena/Niley Episode 2

Selena's POV
The detention room was cold. I took a seat in the back, and smiled nervously at Ms. Williams.
"I'm really sorry about your arm, how is it?" I apologized, even though I wasn't sorry.
"It's fine, the doctor looked at it and said it wasn't broken, so he just put it in a cast." She said, rolling her eyes.
I nodded and bent down to my bag, and grabbed my hoodie. I shivered as I slid it over my head. It got kind of awkward, so I got a pencil and a few pieces of paper out, and began to draw. Not even ten minutes later, the door opened. I looked up, and my eyes widened. Why was he here? This can't be possible.
"Uhh..... nice of you to finally join us, Mr. Lerman. Take a seat." Ms. Williams, said, as she dug her hand into her bag and got a pack of cigarettes out. She slowly stood up, and dug her hand into her pocket and got out a lighter.
"I'll be back after detention...Don't be loud." She said, and walked out the door as Logan took a seat next to me.
He immediatly leaned over.
"Whatcha drawing?" He asked, as I threw the pencil down.
"It's nothing." I said, grabbing the piece of paper and folding it into tiny pieces, and dropping it into my bag.
"Didn't look like nothing." He said, leaning back in the seat.
"It's...whatever..." I said, sighing.
"Listen.. I saw it, and it was really good. One of the best I've ever seen. Just thought I should let ya know." He smiled.
I looked at him with a smile, and bit my lip. "Really?" I asked.
He leaned closer to me, and winked when he got in my face. "Really."
I felt my cheeks get hot and I quickly looked away. After a few minutes, I turned back towards him, and asked, "Uhh... why are you here anyways?"
"Hit a guy in gym. I could ask you the same thing..." He said, raising his eyebrows.
I licked my lips and sighed, "I tripped Ms. Williams and laughed. And now she has a...."I trailed off.
"A sprained arm? Yeahh.. kinda figured. Wait... Uhhh...Selena, right? I know you!! You're that girl that NEVER got in trouble!! My mom and your mom are great friends!!" He said..as I looked down.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"Were friends.. mom died freshman year..." I said as I bit my lip, and glued my eyes shut, as I silently prayed not to cry.
He slowly placed an arm on my back and moved his hand up and down, rubbing. "I'm so sorry.." I saw him look around uncomfortably, and I quickly sat up.
"It's fine.." I said, and looked at him smiling, "Your hand is still on my back."
"Oh righht...." He said, as he quickly removed his arm. I giggled, and he began talking again, "Uhh....you used to NEVER get in trouble...what in the world happened to you?"
"I guess when my mom died, I kinda became rebellious, and I just started being a bitch." I said, which made him laugh.
"You don't really seem like a bitch." He said, and cracked a smile.
"Well....not yet...I'm not used to you..so I can't really be a bitch yet." I smiled, and he chuckled.
He was about to say something when Ms. Williams came back in.
"Okay. Detention is over.. Leave." She said, grabbing her bag, and walking out of the room again, slamming the door.
Had we really been talking that long? How had 1 whole hour pass that quickly? He got up and walked towards the door, and turned around.
"Do you need a ride?" He asked.
"Please?" I asked, smiling.
He nodded and opened the door, and watched me as I put my bag over my shoulder. I ran out the door and into the hallway. He smiled and led me out of the school and into the parking lot, towards his car.
