I'm an American and I love Oasis but this video is spot on, fuck our public opinion, we are too busy listening to Rihanna and Sum41 or some shit like that. Oasis are legends all around the world (pun intended)!

I see it like this, they still sold a shit ton of albums here in the states but apparently because it didn't match the U.K. sales they didn't supposedly 'crack' it here. To be honest I have no idea why they would have ever needed to maintain mainstream here. We're a country full of people who have shit music tastes that don't deserve to listen to Oasis. Either way, they're a fantastic band who have written some of the best songs ever, live forever!

oasis didnt need to enter the jew runed music industry of america, by doing that they stayed true to their music and that is why we have the oasis that we do today
