Anti motorbike parking charge demo in London

Anti 'Motorbike parking charge' demonstration in Westminister, Central London 31/03/09.
Started in Trafalgar Square, down Whitehall, round Parliament Square and up Victoria Street.
Motorcycles do not cause congestion and should be promoted as valid, 'greener and smaller' transport than cars for Cities.
They should not be vilified, and should be given more parking spaces, more secure parking spaces and for free, to promote and encourage their use, and not charged a small fee, which will obviously creep up quickly and spread around the whole of the UK..
When will 'the powers that be' wake up and start using common sense and logic in their policies ????
Ministers and officials working for transport within London accused the demo of causing problems to retailers, shoppers and tourists, which just goes to show how they think and where their true interests lay.... MONEY !!!! Whats next....pushbike parking charges....?????
