Good morning all. I enjoy listening to the Angelic Gospel Singers. My grandmother loves to listen to these ladies. I don't care where we're going. The first thing she ask, is where's her music. My grandmother will be ninety-seven this coming July, on the 11th. And, I am looking to purchasing another cd of the Angelic Gospel Singers.
Growing up i thought this was one of the most boring groups i had ever heard. But then at the age of 13 i saw the Angelics perform live and they literally blew my mind. Ms. Babe could really move and she knew how to work the crowd. It was then that whenever they would come to town i would make it my business to see them. Then we became friends and she turned out to be one of the nicest people i ever met. I would book her for my church in Vicksburg, MS and she kill us everytime. What a singer!!!!
This brings back soo many memories of riding to church with my grandmother and grandfather on Sunday Mornings...My grandmother has since gone home to be with the Lord but, I'll always remember her taste in music. RIP Victoria Davis!
@devantecooley that sounds like back at my childhood Home Church Saint Paul Baptist Church in Gin City, AR. We had the kind of church that the Angels had 2 been there singing with us b/c it was life changing!!! Those were some mighty good times in that lil old wooden church house just outside of Bradley, AR Wemay not have had a big Band & Orchestra but Sho Nuff King Jesus was in the House!!! Oh GLORY!!!
Wait!! I think I hear my Momma singing and stomping her feet-all with a great big smile. Thank You Jesus...Thank You Mom.
