http://www.facebook.com/RocketSocialMarketing In this video series you will learn how to use Social Media Marketing for two way communication that will engage your clients and prospects and turn them into raving fans! John Cote discusses the HD camera and mic he uses to shoot quick and easy videos to create content. There are plenty of other options of course, this is a starting point for the beginners.

The point is to have something available and easy to use anytime to capture things in the office/practice/store that can be used as content like testimonials, how to videos, product or service demo's etc.

  • Wow, just noticed this video jumped to over 300 views, guess you like to hear about hardware! Feel free to comment and let me know what you would like to learn about. I am more than happy to answer your questions in a video.

  • Hi John great video thanks. can you tell me what editing software you use. windows movie or kodak arcsoft or others?

  • @GeorgeBirdsall I use iMovie, Screenflow and Gimp for the majority of them. I have used animoto.com in the past as a test, it was interesting but I found it took longer than iMovie and had a lot less control. I am still shooting and editing my own at the moment but I am outsourcing my client videos as I get busier! Looking for some video editing geniuses in Huntsville btw!! [chuckles]

  • @RocketSocialMKT thanks for the reply, just noticed these are all for apple macs, any experience with windows based software?

  • @GeorgeBirdsall Hi George, I recommend Camtasia Studio instead of Screenflow and Photoshop instead of Gimp although GIMP works fine for PC too. For editing I suggest Vegas Movie Studio HD Platinum Production Suite, Windows Movie Maker or Sony Vegas Movie Studio 9 depending on your budget and experience level.

  • I like you intro too.

  • @seoadvertising Glad you like it! We are testing a couple of different intros, you can see another one in the stuff I posted last month.
