This video provides a "water spill" demonstration, using the Cactus V5 with camera sync speed at 1/1000s.

noriel1609 it might be a function of having the incorrect sync set on your camera

hi! can u help me with my problem on my cactus shutter released cable! i just bought 2 set of cactus v5 duo & a shutter cable, my problem is when im using my shutter cable to trigger my camera with the cactus v5 & my yongnuo speed light it fire the camera & the flash but in the image there is no flash fired. this only happened if im using the shutter released cable it is fine working with out the shutter cable can u tell me why the flash is not working when im using the shutter released cable?

To capture motion you don't need High sync speed. The duration of the flash is alot shorter than the shutterspeed anyway. Just set the flash on a low power for faster flash duration and set the shutterspeed to whatever jo need for the background and your good to go
