  • Hey Zeke: Save your smartass remarks for your hip-hop stars; you know, those highly talented individuals like 49 cent and emenema who can't: sing, play an instrument, compose an actual song (grade 3 rhymes don't count) or display any kind of musical ability. These boys could do it all: they sang (without voice filters), composed tunes, played guitars, etc. and had beautful, exquisite harmonies (thanks to endless hrs of practice). So stick that in your crack pipe and smoke it...

  • It's easy to forget how popular P & G were at the time. Screaming fans and sell-out concerts, including headlining at The Hollywood Bowl.

  • sorry, but did they get austin powers character from this singer??

  • @blackdogxx I thought that too about the teeth, but these days teeth all look the same and 'artists' have that plastic look. The latest 'pop star' to come out of the Xfactor in Australia 2011 is only 14 and had his teeth done during the season of X. Looked ridiculous he could hardly get his lips around his teeth, and it must affect his voice as well. $12,000 for a 14 year old? Let his teeth develop naturally and then see how they look. It's a crazy world.

  • man peter looks just like austin powers i remember these guys in the 60s

  • A couple of comments. From certain angles Gordon (God rest his soul) bore an amazing resemblance to John Lennon (God rest his soul too.) This version of Phil Spector's song is alright, but I still think the original Teddy Bears did it best. Just my preference. For the longest time I had difficulty distinguishing Peter and Gordon from Chad and Jeremy. Peter Asher and Chad Stuart were blonde and wore big horned rimmed glasses. May all four be remembered!

  • @mjshroomer1 You're incorrect; the group was formed by Phil Spector who sang on the record. The other members were Marshall Leib, Annette Kleinhard (Who went on to a fine songwriting career) and Sandy Nelson on drums.Harvey Goldstein was also in the original line-up.

  • The Teddy Bears, two boring dudes and a girl, and was written by Phil Spector. The Beatles version was not really released. Paul was dating jane Asher, sister of Peter, and Paul sang lead and it was for the tv show, "Pop Goes the Beatles." It was never released until the last 20 years or so, and by the way, Jane Asher was one id thew first teenage girls to do a full frontal nude in Michaelangelo Antonioni's Blow Up with David Warner. In one scene, Jane and girlfriend chase nude one another.

  • @paleblue498 modern music is shite mate Im a 60's guitarist and if you werent good you got booted off, not like today. There would be no one on stage if they were out then

  • @IriuskaBeatlera The original song is called To know him is to love him written by Phil Spector. The Beatles recorded it too as To know her is to love her.
