  • Great pieces! Could you post the names of the shanties, though? I know the first one is Drunken Sailor but I don't recognize the others.

  • props to the flutist :P she was sorta the leader of the piece GIRL POWER

JK :) <3 itt... i played this in fifth grade with the other instuments sounded okay... but it was a really fun piece to play XD

  • where can i find the sheet music to for this

  • Malcolm Arnold is the best

  • i found the clarinet part of this piece lying around on my shelf the other day... i never actually played the piece. it sounds great, maybe i should someday!

  • @delArteEnsemble How long did you guys work on this? Were in highschool and we really like this piece but we aren't sure if we should go for this or something easier. As an ensemble we last played Contrapunctus XII by Bach.

  • Another horn here, enjoying all the playing, particularly the horn. I performed this with my "alternative" wind quintet when i was at school. We had to substitute bassoon with a bass clarinet and oboe with a soprano sax but it worked!

  • That's really good! :)

  • not to brag but i play french horn in high school presently and i did this piece for solo ensemble my sopemore year. and we sounded exactly like this. i killed the horn part O_O!! lol but very well played alll around!

  • Very nicely done!

As an oboist who's played this piece before, I must give props to the oboist! Very nice projection and tone oboist! lol
