I voted for Gary Johnson because he promised me more money in my pocket to buy a decent phone at competitive prices from the free market as opposed to the shitty Obama phone that is prone to wiretapping and has a cracked screen and was handed down from some family over in China.

As far as I know no state requires the full legal name of the write-in. They leave a reasonable room for misspellings and aliases. As long as whoever is counting the ballots can tell who you voted for, your vote counts. But some states require that write-in candidates have to register and become "official write-ins" for their votes to count, and as far as I know Ron Paul only did this in Maine.

People who wrote "Ron Paul" literally wasted their vote. They should have written "Ronald Earnest Paul" for him to actually get the vote.
