DTM Norisring 2011 - Race

Welcome to the Main Event of this years' Norisring race.

As it seems something special has to happen in the past couple of years in the DTM race at the Norisring.

This time the race drowned so to speak. Another kind of premiere.

After the safety-car start in lap 6 the racing line became almost dry. But halfway through the race rain set in again!

A heavy rain shower hit the Norisring and because of that the race direction saw no other option than stopping the race by red flag after 75 per cent of the race distance. Bruno Spengler was in the lead the whole race and in that moment scoring his third Norisring victory.
