  • I'm fascinated with the Waldorf philosophy, but have been trying to find out exactly what a normal school day would be like in a Waldorf school, especially the early childhood years. Do you have any sources for information on that?

  • Visit the website "Why Waldorf Works" and there will be links to Early Childhood sources of information -- they should be able to help you.

  • I want to go to one, but I am in grade 10!

    Any point?

  • It's never too late! I know of many students who joined a Waldorf high school in 11th grade and felt immediately at home -- give it a try if you live near enough. -- Eugene

  • very interesting, thanks for the production keep the good work

    kindly regards

  • My God! This makes me wish I went to a Waldorf School!

  • I couldn´t agree more.

I attended a Waldorfschool and graduated in June of this Year. It was a good experience - which I could appreciate even more as I had been attending "normal schools" before, finally getting to a Waldorfschool only in the 6. grade.

I wish I had been there from the start... :)

Students learn so many usefull and handy things that they do not learn elsewhere.

  • @Irenioskamoska yes it's kind of dificult to adapt to another school because it's anothe type of education that for me dosen't make any sense it's no dificult to coexist with my classmates if not with my teachers. and one thing that i like of waldorf education is the relation ship between the teacher and the student and all about of the waldorf art and anthroposophy

  • This is ridiculous. I started in Waldorf in kindergarden and have been there ever since. I am a junior now and I would just like to say that this is the art work of students who are highly artistic. Not nearly all the students are this proficient. All of us draw and paint regularly but many people's strengths are not in art. This video made me feel like Waldorf was being portrayed as some kind of art cult.

  • @FemaleFreedomSeeker hello, can you tell me if it is difficult after being learning in waldorf to go to the other system schools when uŕe older? and can you tell me if a waldorf student can be what ever they want as they grow up, or if they are directed towards being artists or similar? thanks

  • @MrYoshi134 hello, can you share me your experience being a waldorf student? i want to know if it is true that when you graduate is difficult to adapt with the other educational system and also it is sayd that kids from waldorf school are mostly artist when they grow up

  • @jojo6884 i am thinking about grade 5, 6 and so in waldorf school in cuernavaca mexico. But i don know any one that has grown in that education system, i am convinced about the inner growth that it brings, but iḿ uncertain of the effects of waldorf school in the academic level that gives them the possiblility to do what ever they want with their life , and not only artistic things or waldorf type of things. can you give me a comment?

    thanks

  • Damn... I wish I had that kind of education... My kids are goin' there!

  • i go to the "steiner schule" its the swiss version of waldorfschool. i think its very good for kids from the age 7 to 13 but after that the lessons aren't good u don't learn enough and u are challenged.... and most of the students are very bored...

  • i'm a waldorf student from mexio and i went to new york with a group of guanajuato mexico and i wento to a conference thah you make and i really like it and i really like this form of teaching cus im no just growing like a simple student if not like a human being to this world

  • My grandkids are going to waldorf and it's a beautiful thing for them. Kids are going to be kids and they let them. and they are learning.

I have one the other schools wanted on ritalin, and now I am not being minipulated to put him on drugs.

  • I think this is a great idea! this is the true method for creating independent human beings that become GODS by themselves.
