Onto part dos of the show, and it's anybody's game in this sudden death tie-breaker! From the week of 5/9/83-5/13/83, with special guests TV icon Vicki Lawrence (then of Mama's Family), and LeVar Burton (from the 1977 miniseries Roots, and TV's Reading Rainbow). Who will end up in the coveted Winner's Circle? Will it be Kathy? (Holy shnikes! ANOTHER Kathy...) Or, returning champion Lori? Let's watch!!

  • Things with a Shoulder: a highway, a football player, Dynasty's Joan Collins...

  • @bearfedway Hahaha! Joan Collins! Now, that's what you call an '80s clue! :-)

  • For me (and I mentioned this a while back), the most highly sought after week of "The New $25,000 Pyramid" is the Shelley Smith & Bill Cullen week (10/10/83-10/14/83). The reason why I thgink it's so highly sought after is because USA Network has never shown it, and neither has GSN.

  • The WC changed to white on the Audrey Landers & Charles Siebert week (9/19/83-9/23/83).

What I don't get is why did it only take until the 2nd week of shows to do the same thing to the main board.

  • @gameshowluvr86 I remember one win in which that clue was at the top of the pyramid and the celebrity said "a road, a football player, Joan Crawford..."

I wonder if the show ever comes back on the air if contestants would be able to guess the answer from those clues. Thanks for the response and the video posts.

  • the guy sucked at the end....coffin and dead body? TRY TREASURE

  • I love the country of Kentucky. LOL... 1:05

  • OMFG the tie-braker portion!

"We went to war with them in the 50's, North and South--"

Receiver of the clues responds with, "Kentucky!"

Seriously, where the hell did she get that from! LOL! Too funny!

  • Or "a dog's bone"

  • I'm quite sure I remember it coming on at different times of the day, despite the fact that the shows all came on in the same order. I couldn't even tell time back then LOL! I was only about two or three, but I remember it pretty well.

  • Well, here in Dallas (Central time), The $25,000 Pyramid came on at 3:00 in the afternoon, followed by The $100,000 Pyramid at 3:30. After that, PGA Golf, or somethin' crappy like that would come on... lol.

  • Would you happen to know what time the pyramid came on when it was shown on USA?
