  • Awesome video. Love what your doing over at PhilosophersNotes!

Really love that idea of courage pumping vitality to all other virtues. Feel the fear and do it anyway. If not you will be "betraying yourself...and your community." I love that! There is so much for you to offer this world that no one else can!

This idea falls in line with the company I work for, Be Legendary. It takes courage to Be Legendary, but this is a potential all of us possess!

    Cheers!

  • Humanistic psychology is widely, falsely criticized as self oriented, narcissistic. This video focuses on individual selves mostly. But this book is about creating new forms for society.

Maslow said the term “self actualization” is misleading, missing the social.

For Courage to create I recommend Charles Hampden-Turner: Radical Man: the Process of PsychoSOCIAL Development, esp. ch. “Dissent and Rebellion in the Laboratory.” Serious? Must read CH-T dissert.: “Towards a Humanistic Psychology.”

  • Really good ideas in this book, I feel the emotions when I go through them & this makes me stronger. Kinda from Trinidad

  • GREAT

  • Love it! thank you, Brian :-)

  • Thanks for this post Brian, really like this one. I think also that it takes courage to admit to feeling fear, & perhaps the courage comes from not using the word 'admit' but changing that to 'acknowledge'. Susan Jeffers wrote the book 'Feel the Fear & Do It Anyway' Love all the things you share, really appreciate all your input. Many thanks once again. x
