I think it looks good in its place, its similar to the effect seen on the Voyager Series intro.

hey if you want to make a realistick fire make it a bit slower and relaxed, like it has controll over the world not beeing looked as runnuing away from a tiger!, so make it look gentle, relaxed, not spraying like cam, but pure and your self try to relax and put your self in that fire mood ti feel as if you are a fire and then make it. good luck
