where are your piston rings?
-
It moves because you've got no piston rings!

Thas why people like to soak there engines and such to make sure after a polishing and Air compresor brush off they get all even the micro debry out of there engines.

Yeah a bad knocking sound, it was down on power, hard to start, and wouldn't idle.

cool man cool. that dont sound good. did you get it fixed now?
budubum 2 years ago
Yeah, it's good now. Had the cyl bored, another new piston, decked the head, Boyesen reeds, FMF pipe and silencer. Super fast.

nice to hear that its going well nw
when jetting and opening the bottom cover of the carb, do you always have to get new gaskets for it or is it reuseable? does all jet needles fits to all mikuni to all mikuni carbs aswell as keihin to kehin cabs?

I've never replaced the gasket, just wipe it off and re-use it. As for the parts being swap-able, I have no idea.
