Very interesting project you've got there yaKC.

Does it rely on Compiz for the effects or have you used your own tech? Lot of effects that I wouldn't mind seeing Ubuntu using and some of the other desktop distros. Top of the list being different wallpapers for the different desktops and the ability to make them move.

Look froward to seeing it actually running on a Pandora :)

Thanks, it's my own code, so everything you see is new stuff, this isn't actually E.A.S.E. yet just the start of the desktop, it'll be the apps and the way they interface, and the stuff you can do that will define the OS, so I hope you'll like what it'll grow into :)

can you run windows media player classic?

can you change the fullscreen playback rezolution to 320x200

can you recapture this by feeding the tv output back into the tv ecnoder on the vga or using debut screencast desktop video capture at 256x192 and use retroX to convert each frame of the avi to a sam screen$ in an atom lite hdf record file system?
