True. Leftists keep telling us how terrible the American-installed Shah Pahlavi was. Yet, he is the one who pretty much liberalized Iran by granting women right to vote, expanding religious freedom, and creating an overall westernized image of Iran. All of that was crushed under Islamic revolution. Shame on Carter for supporting ayatollah!
