@xbcnfujv I think it's a question of tuning and heads - the brand does'nt really matter. On the other hand, the choice of the right cymbals is very important. For a jazzy sound I tuned all heads pretty up and matched the heads with reso. But you are right! The New Classic is very easy to tune. Nevertheless, I think, you could go with any shellset, but only with the best sounding cymbals you can get. ;-)
