Thanks for the review! The extensions look like a must have. I use traditional gut SpyGlass snow shoes so the size of the modern ones make me wonder. Looks like it will give you pretty good float but excel on climbing and giving you a safe stable grip in slippery situations. These could be a post holing snowboarders best friend. Small enough to pack with you when riding.

Best part in my opinion? Made in the U.S.A!

I rented a pair of those this weekend to hike up a couple peaks in the white mountains. They are AWESOME! The trek was grueling but i couldn't have done it with out those snow shoes! I didn't know what the ascent thing was for so I missed out on that feature but... even without that they were a life saver... literally. thanks
