As with most of you here i keep coming back to this scene, ive watched the film at least ten times and i went out with a girl who was the spit off this actress, so reminds me of my younger days late 70s early 80s its almost like my life on screen its spooky, just an adorable low budget film

the preciousness and fragility of life's brevity, the tragedy of unrequitted love.
the return of the envied superstar to see what he really missed out on, and her spontaneous realization that he had loved her all along, and that everybody's perception of the other one having their dream, was just that.
