go to a friends home that has internet & a cd rom burner.. download a copy of linux such as Knoppix , PClinuxOS , Mandrake Move or Puppy Linux. Burn the file to a cd to create a bootable linux disk. Set your computer up to boot from a cdrom. The linux disk will load linux temporarily into ram and will leave windows alone. CE will have no effect on the linux now running. The Linux OS has web browser , email client , word processor , printer support--anything you need to do.

CovenantEyes does indeed offer filtering, which is a good way to help your kids not stumble onto things while _they_ view the web, and helps you avoid stumbling blocks you weren't actively looking for, but you can chose CovenantEyes to only assist in accountability... In this case, it blocks absolutely nothing...but you're probably going to get a phone call from your accountability about the items that a normal filter would have blocked. For filters, BSafe/BSecure is pretty remarkable.

My friend, I believe you've missed the entire point of the video and the video's description: "Accountability is different from Internet filtering. Learn how Covenant Eyes Accountability changes the way you use the Internet."
The point being that Accountability is different than filtering, not just in actuation, but in very concept and how it helps or harms a person struggling to find sexual integrity in their lives (with regards to web content).

I had friends who bought a computer from a guy who had it installed. Since he didn't have the computer anymore he quit paying the subscription. The software disabled their internet connectivity and they couldn't get ahold of the original owner to have him call the company and disable it. The company refused to disable it. So my friends called me, I went over and in less than 10 minutes I had removed every trace of the software. No reinstall of Win needed, just have to know where to look.

I hate this. It blocks legitimate stuff and does not block bad stuff. Redesign how your filter looks at pages.
