Really nice look at the work it took to make great classic animation like that of Snow White. Really makes you appreciate the old films in a different way, more like an artists paining than an funny little short (not to say it shouldn't be viewed for it's entertainment value)
@CPProductions13 It's not any easier now. If you are doing "2D animation," you are still making a lot of drawings. And today, the standards are so much higher due to all of the pioneering discoveries that have brought animated features to today's level of expectation.
@Katgrl18 No, it's not the same, nor is it calmer since the organization has become so formal and compartmentalized. There are more psychological pressures from supervisors and management. Also, there have been more reported cases of Carpal Tunnel Syndrome in recent years due to the strict requirements for clean finished drawings.
The animator drawing Mickey Mouse from 3:18 to 3:51 is actually drawing him with a grease pencil, rather than a traditional lead pencil, since lead would not really photograph well.

@saltyspice59 Then be prepared for psychological abuse and doing a lot of thankless tasks. Sarcasm or not. Many a truth is told in jest.

I can't tell if that's sarcasm...I didn't say animating isn't hard. It's a lot of work, but it can be fun if you like it.
