A special polymer film containing the fast photochromic molecules.
Photochromic molecules change their color upon irradiation with light. The photogenerated state of a photochromic molecule can switch back to the original state either thermally, once irradiation is terminated, or photochemically, upon illumination with a specific wavelength of light.
Prof. Jiro Abe of Aoyama Gakuin University recently developed a photochromic [2.2]PC-bridged imidazole dimer, with a [2.2]paracyclophane ([2.2]PC) moiety that couples two diphenylimidazole (DPI) groups, that shows instantaneous coloration upon exposure to UV light and rapid fading in the dark.

Please, could you tell me what light is it?

@lekunberriko1 UV light irradiation was performed by a UV-LED (Keyence UV-400) , which is commercially available from Japanese company.
