@MrJmfitch True. Realistically though most of us have 6-10 extra weapons that we would not be ABLE to use if TS ever HTF and many that aren't very practical for that use. Serious folks could sell a couple of them and get quality NV like this. Folks that bought gold at $300-500. an ounce are selling 2 coins, buying one AND having some money left over!! I saved up for a while, sold some of my older 2nd Gen US NV to buy my first 14. It was worth it!

@SurvivalReport I like this gear, but if I had money to get crazy with, I would buy the latest gen thermals... they have a hybrid night vision+thermal capability. You can estimate to spend about $30k for one set though. Ouch.

@MrJmfitch All of the quality thermal AND night vision together sets I've seen are all available to Gubmint agencies ONLY. Hopefully that will change before too long.
