The letter or number you get is based upon what time you sign in, so although you can't line up early, do make you check in early.

Don't count on specific quests, because they may have pre-taped, or will be pre-taping different guests than you expected, for other times. Oh and the studios are cold. ;)

I can't speak for the LA studios, but I found the New York fine temperature wise, but then again it was November in New York I was in a sweatshirt.

I have a couple questions for you,

1) I'm hoping to see the show sometimes between sept 5-7th, right now tickets are only available till the 2nd..do you happen to remember which day of the week they changed dates?

2) When it comes to seating is the number on your ticket from when you checked in earlier or when you lined up the second time?

Neat idea for a video! People may think it's out of their reach to attend these sorts of things, but it is pretty accessible... Last week I was in LA, and went to a Craig Ferguson and Jimmy Kimmel taping. I knew the dates I'd be in LA, and got the tickets via e-mail. The main advice that's important is to line up early, and be patient and laid-back! And once in the studio, be enthusiastic and well-behaved!
