@mickstephenson You obviously didn't watch till the end. This ad focuses on exactly that, breaking the "just a pretty face" motto. This is shown in the end when Sharapova begins playing, the music suddenly stops and everyone focuses on the actual match.

Completely patronising advert. Yes she is pretty. But she is an athlete surely her talent at tennis is the important characteristic especially for a sporting goods company.
If I were a lady watching this, I'd be encouraged not to buy any Nike products.
